The Regimental Association exists to further the interests of the Regiment and to support its members past and present.  It is also active on behalf of the welfare of members, serving and retired, and their families.

All those who have served with the Sherwood Rangers Yeomanry and its successor units are automatically members and we aim to keep in touch by means of an annual newsletter and an annual reunion dinner and participation in various commemorative and social events.

Any member who has lost touch is invited to contact the Regimental Secretary via the contact link on these pages.

More frequent events are organised by the Association’s Midlands Branch which meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month at the TA Centre at Carlton and has an active social programme.  The Branch is also involved in local events including the current Trent to Trenches exhibition commemorating the centenary of World War 1.

In addition, the Association also organises the Regiment’s representation at other events including the Royal British Legion’s Field of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey and foreign trips to Normandy and other areas of significance to the Regiment.  See the Events page for further details.
